1. study a new material everyday. This is important so that i have more 'weapons' to use in attacking research problems.

2. Try to summarize Prof.Liu teaching:

a. Allways break the problem into pieces

b. Simplify the problem to the simplest case. And then step by step build on it.

c. Talk about what you learn and do in a layman language that your roommates can understand.
