Today I refined my single-shot set-up. Everything is up except beam.

I should study today but I didn't.

I spend my last hour on mindmapping. Can't get the effect I want. I think I need to draw them on paper.

Mindmapping is good, I saw somebody using it to give a overview of optics. An inspiration to me. Too many things can be done and study too.

I will work on what Prof tell me to do first. And then do the study. And read the paper. Do a lot of visualization and try to explain to somebody( even in your mind!).

I am not sure whether I want to take molecular alignment as my long term thesis topic. I hope I can do some plasmonics.

Book to study: AMO, nonlinear, Thz, femto.

Research journal

I make the autorcorrelator at the morning.

I read materials on molecular alignment.

My working in the morning is good. Gain more experience on optics set-up.

Theory reading in the afternoon is not good.

First, I easily lost my concentration. Reasons? The material is hard. I need to study more basic stuff first. Then I just spent my time browsing.

Conclusion: Study atomic and molecular physics. Start from basic. I need to follow my calendar schedule more rigidly.

事業

最近常會想著事業的問題。
說說自己的情況。老板是助理教授，剛起步。發過nature，感覺是會會進步的。
如果我在五年內畢業，就不需要煩惱老板沒有tenured的問題。
畢業后，找工作可能會因為老板不是牛人的影響。
可是這研究是我感興趣的。

Landau said: No one should work for fame and money, work for it own sake.

如果你有能力，你還是會被賞識的。

不是擁有多少書
不是擁有多少cd

而是讀了多少書
聽了多少音樂

讀了書
聽了音樂后
又有多少領悟，感受

這才是最重要的。

tough and brave

Now, i know i need to be clear-minded.
I need to write more. contribute more time to think. Life purpose? whatever.
Maybe writing is better for me.

the life here is somewhat boring.

But i have started to quit playing game. I think this is a good start for my life.

I want to strengthen myself. To be tough and brave.
